INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR’S AGREEMENT
This Agreement is between A&B FASHIONISTA owners Addie Cunningham and Brittianee Pettaway and Vendors for the “Denim and Diamond Fashion Show.” located at the Bliss Event Space 30225 Cherry Hill, Inkster, MI 48141 on October 19th, 2024.
WORK TO BE PERFORMED:
A&B FASHIONISTA has agreed to work as an independent contractor on a full Fashion show event, promotion, and advertising as we set up a full networking platform for local businesses. The contractor will be compensated at a flat rate of $75.00 for a maximum of 4 hours per event day, starting on October 19th, 2024. A&B fashionista cannot guarantee the flow of traffic nor the number of customers a vendor may receive however we can set the standard and the platform for a winning networking event.
EXPENSES:
The Vendor is responsible for all expenses incurred while performing services under this agreement. This includes, but is not limited to, automobile rental cost, ground transportation, hotel accommodations, and other travel expenses, goods, and merchandise.
LIABILITY FOR DAMAGED MERCHANDISE, LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS:
Please be aware that A&B FASHIONISTA is not responsible for any damaged merchandise, lost, or stolen items during the event.
TERMINATION OF SERVICES:
A&B Fashionista has the right to terminate all relatable parties at any time deemed appropriate if vendor and event coordinator (independent contractor) relationship is compromised with no refund.
Dignity & Respect:
It is very imperative that we always treat everyone apart of “The Denim and Diamond Fashion Show” with dignity and respect. This includes Bliss Event Space (and staff), Owners of A&B Fashionista (and staff), models, All Vendors, Audience/customers, make-up artist, and photographers. We must always remain professional as we are representing our businesses.
SERVICES BEING RENDERED:
The following duties and responsibilities are expected to be fulfilled by A&B FASHIONISTA:
- Set up tables, chairs, and tablecloths (2 people per table).
- Promote the event using multiple social media platforms such as (but not limited to) Facebook and Instagram.
- Models for the Fashion Show
- Each Vendor will also be entered into the A&B Fashionista magazine April 2024 edition (quarter page).
Vendor Responsibilities:
Vendors MUST Arrive 1 1/2 hours early before event start up time. Vendor tables must be always occupied by the owner or their representative. Vendors are to dress as a business professional appropriate to their line of work (i.e. a business logo shirt or simply just professional). Once the event has commenced, we will no longer be accepting any vendors. To participate as a vendor in “The Denim and Diamond Fashion Show”, Each Vendor must sell a minimum of 5 tickets on top of the $75 starting fee. However, if you are a non-clothing fashion vendor, the minimum tickets you must sell is 3. You are responsible for your tickets. Once you purchase your spot for the event by paying the $75 fee, it serves as your signature on the contract, and your contract with A&B Fashionista begins immediately.
COMPENSATION:
Full payment is due on the day of the event and can be made via cash, Cash App, Zelle, or PayPal. We do not accept checks or money orders under any circumstances.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY:
A&B FASHIONISTA acknowledges that this agreement does not apply to any invention, creation, idea, or design for which no equipment, supplies, facility, or trade secret information of the contractor is involved.
REFUNDS:
Please note that there are no refunds under any circumstances.
