INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR AGREEMENT
**This Agreement is made between A&B FASHIONISTA LLC and Designers/Vendors for the “Beauty is Vain” Fashion Show**, scheduled for May 2, 2026, at the Bliss Event Space, located at 30225 Cherry Hill, Inkster, MI 48141.
WORK TO BE PERFORMED
A&B FASHIONISTA will serve as an independent contractor to organize a comprehensive fashion show event, including promotion and advertising, aimed at creating a networking platform for local businesses. Compensation for A&B FASHIONISTA will be a flat fee of **$125.00** for a maximum of **4 hours** on the event day. While A&B FASHIONISTA strives to create an engaging event, it cannot guarantee customer traffic or sales for designers/vendors; however, it will establish a conducive environment for networking.
EXPENSES
Designers and vendors are responsible for all expenses incurred while providing services under this Agreement. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Automobile rental
- Ground transportation
- Hotel accommodations
- Other travel expenses
- Goods and merchandise
LIABILITY FOR DAMAGED MERCHANDISE, LOST, OR STOLEN ITEMS
A&B FASHIONISTA will not be liable for any damaged merchandise, nor for lost or stolen items during the event.
TERMINATION OF SERVICES
A&B FASHIONISTA reserves the right to terminate this Agreement at any time if the relationship between the vendor and event coordinator is compromised. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
DIGNITY & RESPECT
All participants in the "Beauty is Vain" Fashion Show, including staff of Bliss Event Space, A&B FASHIONISTA, models, designers, vendors, audience members, makeup artists, and photographers, must be treated with dignity and respect. Professionalism is paramount as we collectively represent our businesses.
SERVICES RENDERED
The following duties and responsibilities are expected from A&B FASHIONISTA:
Event Promotion: Utilize various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram).
- Model Coordination: Provide up to **5 models** for the fashion show.
- **Magazine Feature**: Each designer will receive a quarter-page feature in the May 2026 edition of the A&B FASHIONISTA magazine.
- **Ticketing**: Provide **1 paid ticket** for the event.
Designers/Vendor Responsibilities:
- Designers must pay a fee of **$125**, while vendors will pay a fee of **$85**.
- Designers and vendors must arrive by **noon** to prepare for the event.
- Dress in business professional attire appropriate to their brand (e.g., logo shirts or professional wear).
- No designers/vendors will be accepted after the event has commenced.
- Designers must specify whether they wish to have their merchandise returned from the models after the show.
COMPENSATION
Full payment is due **one week before the event**. Payments can be made via the website, cash, Cash App, Zelle, or PayPal. **Checks or money orders are not accepted** under any circumstances.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
This Agreement does not apply to any invention, creation, idea, or design that does not involve the contractor's equipment, supplies, facilities, or trade secret information.
REFUNDS
Please note that **no refunds** will be provided under any circumstances.
Designers are required to meet with their models at least **two weeks before the show** to discuss sizing and prepare for the desired look. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this Agreement, please feel free to reach out.
